Attack thwarted
The biggest news of the day - terror attacks thwarted at Heathrow Airport, London. Around 10 planes were targetted to be blown up mid-air on the Atlantic. All planes were from UK to the US. 21 people were arrested at the London airport.
Just can't believe when will all these stop and HOW? Attacks like these have become so common all over the world that we don't even know when and how the next one is going to come. Targets have been airplanes, underground trains and metro rails. People have become so vulnerable that if they are stuck in a traffic jam in the middle of a bridge like ...(name any famous bridge), God only knows who is ready to blow up truck-load of explosives right at the center of the bridge :(. So insecure is travel now-a-days. Police can't check every truck and car on the freeway which crosses a river.
Even trains and metro buses- no security. I must just say, just keep your fingers crossed and move on with life. Latest example is Mumbai 7/11 attacks :(.

Also, pls take care on your UK trip ... I hear there are a lot of carry-on restrictions. Pls verify the same before packing
